Man has been given the ability to do anything that he sets his mind to. This is the direct result of being formed in the image of God, in his likeness. How else can that be explained. Our God given strength is embedded in the challenges of the unknown. The unknown is overcome through faith, The only way to please God.
He is calling us to a place we cannot see. He is calling us to know him, to believe in him more than we believe in ourselves. In our ignorance, his infinite strength is revealed.
It is by believing in our own strength that we become blind and self-sufficient, ignoring the glory of God that every eye can see. Those who are enamored with themselves and filled with the work of their own hands will not find God.
In our weakness, God reveals hope, faith, and love because we find him to be the loving father. Only those who believe God will find the unshakable truth. The knowledge of God surpasses understanding. There is peace for those who know that.
The world seeks peace through proof and understanding, never dealing with the sin that is separation from God. There is unity in the reconciling forgiveness of Jesus Christ as he is now the head of all things. The world is in open rebellion, resisting the inevitable crowning of Jesus Christ, the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
Those who know him rest in the arms of his care. Those who do not know him are left with all that is a lie, which deceives the entire world. The purpose of the lie is to separate the light from the darkness permanently. “For God is light and in him there is no darkness at all.”
When God chooses to fill an obedient earthly vessel with himself the authority of his word threatens the darkness of the world. When the hatred of this world breaks God’s vessel, his Holy Spirit is poured out upon the earth overwhelming the hearts of his witnesses. “Not by might, not by power, but by my spirit says the Lord.”
Jesus said, “Where I go you cannot follow, and if I go, I will come again and gather you unto myself that where I am there you may be also.”
He has mounted his Steed and is coming in this very hour. Fall upon the Rock lest it fall upon you.
