There is a great deal of physical, empirical evidence that Jesus Christ was here on the earth. Beyond science, there is an abundance of metaphysical evidence supporting that Jesus Christ is who he says he is. The following is about the relationship between God and man.
- Why does God love the world?
- Does God need anyone else?
- Why did God even create the world?
- Who are you that God would die for you?
These questions aim at finding the heart of God. The answers reveal the very essence of his being. Through creation God revealed himself. His purpose was to become not only visible, but also knowable. His desire is to share the riches of all that he is, in an intimate relationship with the one he is forming for himself. That is the reason for all of creation. He has endured all of the sin of the world to fulfill that purpose. That revelation started by creating man in his image and in his likeness. In anticipation of his revelation, he first created the universe, a habitation without limitation.
It is the desire of God to share himself in a love that is without end. That love must be fulfilled with another who is worthy of his perfection. His plan is to form a relationship that will last forever, one that is impervious to corruption. Most of all, it must be founded in a free and willing relationship. Here in this physical world, we either accept or reject the offer to know him and to join him. That offer is the greatest treasure that anyone born of women can claim. Even while shackled with these mortal bodies, when God is sought after like treasure, he reveals the meaning of the abundant life. “More to be desired are they than much fine gold and sweeter than the honey in the honeycomb.”
The evidence for this Godly desire is revealed through Adam, created in his image and in his likeness. God declared, “It is not good for man to be alone.” The creation of Eve, a woman for man reveals the purpose of God for himself. A perfect mate pure and sinless made by his own hands, from within his own being. Even though God possesses dominion over all things and needs nothing to be complete, he has desire. That desire was the expressed purpose of Eve.
Why then did God not simply create a mate for himself? Lucifer wanted to be joined with God and be like the most high. Eve chose to disobey God by eating of the forbidden fruit that would open her eyes to see like God. Creation is to resolve the paradox between disobedience and eternal sinless love. Having love without a choice is not love at all. Having love that is subject to failure is not an option worthy of a perfect God. This is the important aspect. How can perfect love be bound by perfect obedience? The cross of Jesus Christ has always been the plan of God. God created the body of his bride in the immaculate conception of Jesus Christ out of his own being. A bride for himself that resolves the paradox of a free will constrained by obedience. Through the death of his only begotten Son, he purchased our pardon with his own blood. We the redeemed who accept this sacrifice become joint heirs with Christ and in him we inherit all of his blessing.
We are made perfect because God said, “I even I am he, who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, then I will not remember your sins.” Isaiah 43:25
In what seemed impossible, God has paid the price for every sin committed by the world that he created. He bore the responsibility for it all by giving his life in total payment. Everyone who accepts the ransom that he has paid is freed from the curse of sin and made perfect forevermore. “I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” The body of Christ is the wife of God. Purchased by the blood of the Lamb. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
He gave his life to purchase her from death. This is a gift to everyone who believes in him. He bore the responsibility for everything that has happened on the earth. To those who love him he will dry the tears from their eyes. There is only one God, our LORD Jesus Christ, who combined his own free will with his own perfect sinless obedience to pay the price for all disobedience. This is why there is only one way to the Kingdom of Heaven.
By the promise to Abraham, through the nation of Israel and the law of Judaism Jesus Christ became the personification of God, and on the cross, he became the personification of sin. Through his death sin would remain in the grave and through his resurrection he became the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Never again will anything come between himself and his love for his bride.
The celebration of eternal life is the holy matrimony between God and his wife. This is the reason God created the heavens and the earth. His glory will radiate throughout the heavens forever as he himself lives with his bride fulfilling the reason for creation. With the death of disobedience, God is now free to share everything he has with his bride and there is nothing that he will withhold from her.
I declare to you that God has not finished with creation. It will take the universe to house the offspring of God and his bride. The righteousness of eternal generations will inherit the promise to Abraham. “As the stars of heaven are without number so shall your descendants be,” says the LORD your God.
For I am persuaded that neither life nor death, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any creature, can separate us from the love of God.
“For as many as believe in his name he gives the power to become the Sons of God.”
THIS IS WHY GOD SO LOVES THE WORLD
“So, I will betroth you to Me forever;
I will betroth you in righteousness and justice,
in loving devotion and compassion.
And I will betroth you in faithfulness,
and you will know the LORD.” Hosea 2:19-20
