The physical structure of reality offers no explanation of why we are here on the earth. There are many manmade reasons to answer this question. Most of them assume that the physical body is the beginning of life and that there is no prior or higher existence. I do not believe that a cosmic accident created so perfect a physical evolution, while at the same time giving rise to the most selfish and deceitful form of life among all living things. The metaphysical aspect of the human heart is very dark. The attributes of the human heart are godless. We are all born in darkness and tested in the light to reveal our true character. According to Jeremiah the prophet, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?” We all can attest to this in the sovereign privacy of our own hearts. When God said let there be light, he divided the light from the darkness.
Every one of us leaves this earth still in darkness, or born again into the light. Jesus said he who is not for me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters. Clarified by the light of the Lord, we the redeemed choose to stand against the persistence of godless darkness. God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all. The light has overcome the darkness, and the light declares the glory of God in the heavens, and all of creation.
Every man begins in darkness and remains there by rejecting the forgiveness and Lordship of Jesus Christ. The heart, shrouded in darkness steps onto a godless path. In darkness, the heart establishes an alternate throne, alien to the throne God reserves for himself. Enamored by the work of our hands, the glory of God that surrounds us is usurped. We assume that his glory is ours for the taking. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the father except through me. It is also written, it is he that has made us and not we ourselves. For you are not your own you have been bought with the price of his blood. Believe that and you will be given true life.
Based on the biblical chronology and using the documented generations that were recorded, it has been estimated that approximately 100 Billion people have lived on the earth. Each of these individuals have had a lifetime of experiences that in many respects are common to us all. Not only are the individual souls to be judged but also the false gods and fallen angels. These are not imaginary beings, but are representatives of Lucifer who brought deception upon the earth. It is my belief that Lucifer is enraged with jealousy. Lucifer wanted to become the bride of God and God found favor in another. As Cain slew Abel, that jealousy has turned into hatred. After being spurned he has set out to destroy the one God chose to be his bride.
In Hosea 2:19 God says to Israel, “So I will betroth you to Me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in loving devotion and compassion.”
There is a war that is in progress to turn the hearts and minds of all people against God. But it is written, every knee shall bow and tongue confess that Jesus Christ is LORD. With a free will, all will come to understand the greatness of the mighty word of God in the forgiveness of men. He has established his bride through the work of the cross to everyone that believes.
